Seattle Concert Venues Worth Visiting

Like many other big metroplitan cities, there's no lack of entertainment in Seattle.One of the best things about the city includes the occasion to catch a live concert. Concert places in Seattle include absolutely everything from tiny clubs to massive arenas. Facilities around the city host a variety of musical entertainment for audiences of all ages. Whether guests want to see country, modern or classical performances, Seattle concert venues feature nightly shows.

The Triple Door

The Triple Door is among the concert venues in Seattle that generally pulls crowds of any age group, but sometimes has entertainment that appeals to audiences of ages between 20 and 40. Massive name entertainers occasionally showcase their talent, but the venue is essentially renowned for hosting local up and coming bands. Ticket sales prices range from $12 to $50, dependent on the exact act performing. The facility has a standing room capacity for 425 and a seating capacity of 500. Booths and freestanding tables make up staggered rows of seating beginning at the front of the stage, traveling toward the back of the building, and along the sides. A bar serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a kitchen prepares Asian inspired multi-course meals.

Benaroya Hall

Seattle concert venues include this sizeable facility, located in the heart of the city, and spans a complete city block. The establishment features dual performance halls, which principally host classical and jazz music, with occasional celebrity experts. Show tickets begin at around $40, climb upward and vary according to particular shows and desired seats. The facility seats 2,500 and floor seating starts in front of the orchestra pit, continuing to the back of each hall. The theater also has mezzanine seating, on three levels that form a U-shape around the perimeter of the hall. The facility features dual lobby bars and a coffee/dessert island, offered by celebrity chef personality Wolfgang Puck. Refreshments are served at least an hour performances and continue to be served through intermission. The facility also provides on site security 24/7.

The Paramount Theater

The theater offers one of the most high-profile and history rich concert venues in Seattle. The Paramount Theatre offers entertainment for audiences of all ages. The facility frequently hosts celebrity entertainment from contemporary pop artists to country and jazz performers. The venue also hosts musicals and stand-up personalities. Depending on the specific guest, entertainer or band, tickets range from $50 for mezzanine seats to over $350 for central floor seats. The facility seats 2,800 people and contains wall to wall floor seating as well as triplet levels of mezzanine seats, situated on the back wall of the hall. A concession stand offers theme related light meals, beverages and alcoholic cocktails.

The Key Arena

The arena continually hosts sporting events, but also includes a selection of country and rock concerts. The facility has a capacity of 17,000 and seating configurations vary with the type of show presented. The location has general admission, first and second level seating, with tickets starting from $25 to over $300, dependent on the musical event. Similar to other large sports facilities, the Key Arena offers a variety of concessions that retail everything from alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks to keepsakes. The facility also provides onsite emergency medical care from trained personnel, housed in the first aid area.
