It involves taking out part of a tooth and some skin from inside the mouth and placing it in the eye for some time until it regains blood supply. The procedure enabled Mr. Jones to see for the first time his wife of four years.
Another case involves two unborn twin who suffered from Twin-To-Twin Syndrome. This meant that to be able to save one them, there was a need to terminate one child. As the parents, Mr. And Mrs. Gimbel were still deliberating on whether to have the weaker child terminated, their doctor had an idea. They decided to perform laser surgery to help in cauterizing their blood vessels. Fortunately they succeeded.
