The movie is likely to be blockbuster mainly because it boosts a great filming and a phenomenal cast. There are other stories collected from a number of battlefields in different generations. The book recollects these treasure hunts stories in a phenomenal manner.

The book focuses at shedding light on a couple of matters. The story revolves around a number of groups entrusted with the role of saving various pieces of precious art. There is also another group entrusted with digging deeper into various culture bridging. These pieces of art are of very huge importance to the cultures form which they are to be collected from. This was after the First World War. The story goes on to venture into the Second World War.

The print is based on the original movie produced by the Columbia Pictures and 20 Cinemas. The cast of this movie boosts a number of great movie stars. The success of this film could also be attributed to the array of these stars. Each of these members brings out the exact image of what was happening in these wars. The traits of characters and the settings of the movie complement each other very well.

The story is based on true occurrence. The happenings span the first and the Second World War. The events start off in some remote village in Germany during the First World War. The events continue unfolding as the drama gets livelier. An army of well trained young men is sent on a message to recover the lost pieces of jewels.

The hunting plot gets thick as the fine, young men venture into the unknowns. The enemy lays there waiting with his equally cunning group of soldiers. He uses a couple of tricks to beat the army. A number of young men are lured into leaking classified material about the operation. This also calls for covering up of tracks.

After some time, the hunting mission almost falls apart. This is when the soldiers realize that there are traitors among themselves. They have to lay a trap for the traitors or else the entire mission falls apart. Sooner than later, the traitors are caught with their pants down. They are then shamed. The enemy is then tricked and falls for the trap. He is captured and the stolen pieces of fine art recovered.

A number of moral lessons can be drawn from the plot. Loyalty is one of the main subjects in the plot. The author uses a couple of tricks to emphasize on the subject matter. The special characters also enable the author break down the drama.

The monuments men book is suited for mature audience. This is mainly because the setting is well above the scope of young audience. The storyline is also very complicated. This makes it very hard for the young audience to understand it fully. It calls for the best of brains and a critical mind so as to grasp the happenings.
